The current owner, Midwood Investment and Development, demolished the popular Sportsmen's Lodge event center - where it has held events since the 1930's - end of last year.
The $100 million project will show off 94,000 square feet of retail, restaurants, and communal space. Tenants include the fabulous Erewhon Market and Equinox. A pond and walking path to the Los Angeles river will be added as well.
The neighboring Sportsmen's Lodge Hotel will get a $2,250,000 renovation of its own over the next 1.5 years or so but will stay open throughout this process. Updates will include a new sound system, common area upgrades throughout, new roof and parking lot, landscaping improvements, and a poolside lounge area. It'll be all hip again!!!
